For the last few weeks I have been struggling to sleep. I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine anyway. Recently however there has been change. It is an issue in my throat. Every time I lean backwards my glands seem to close up causing coughing and making it impossible to swallow.
As I have type 2 diabetes it is difficult to regulate my water intake as I seem to be drinking non stop. I have therefore bought some Boots No Added Sugar Humbugs. I find sucking them helps produce saliva. So long as I lean forward to keep my that open the issue seems to be managed. Albeit not too comfortable.
I have been speaking to friends who have all been struggling with sleep as well. Wondering if it’s weather related? Does anyone else have these problems? How do you regulate it?
